It was great playing with the some of the best players, learning my strengths and weak points. I also realized how hard I have to work/practice to improve my performance on the field to become better.
-How did the U17 camp help you develop as a player?
I learned it takes a lot of practice to become an exceptional defender. I must work hard, focus on technical skills and work on areas that the coaches’ identified I can improve on. Practice whenever I have a chance.
-How has playing in the Vardar Academy prepared you for this kind of experience and exposure?
Playing with Vardar academy has given me the opportunity to play against soccer players with equal talent or better that helps me to become a better defender. The team has exposed me to good competition and college coaches.
Upon graduation from high school I would like to play soccer for a Division 1 school. I am extremely excited about my abilities to play for a top tier school.
