Two Vardar MLS Next Players were selected to participate in the MLS Next Best of Fest highlight games during the MLS Next Fest Showcases in Norco, CA. 

Andrew Darakdjian, a midfielder for the U17s, played in the Dec. 5 U17/19 game representing the East Conference.

Tyler Matuzak, a defender for the U16s, played in a Dec. 4 U16 game representing MLS East Conference.   The U16 game ended in a 1-1 tie with the West Conference winning in a PK shootout.

"I was very proud to represent Vardar, the East Conference, and my team and am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Best of U16 Match," Tyler said.  "It was a great experience - I met some great players from around the conference and the atmosphere at this event is just electric."
