Vardar’s Own Alex Rosin Named Gatorade Michigan Boys Soccer Player of the Year

We’re thrilled to share that Alex Rosin, a standout athlete who developed through the Vardar Soccer Club, has been named the 2024-25 Gatorade Michigan Boys Soccer Player of the Year! This prestigious honor recognizes not only Alex’s exceptional performance on the field, but also his academic excellence and character off it — a true representation of what it means to be a Vardar player.

During his time with Vardar, Alex showcased the kind of talent, discipline, and leadership that we strive to instill in every one of our players. His work ethic set him apart early on, and it’s no surprise to us that he’s continued to grow into one of the top high school players in the state. From training sessions to high-stakes matches, Alex brought intensity, intelligence, and passion — and now he’s being recognized at the highest level.

The Gatorade Player of the Year award is one of the most respected honors in youth sports, and it speaks volumes about Alex’s impact both on and off the pitch. It’s a testament not only to his abilities, but to the commitment of his coaches, teammates, and family along the way. We couldn’t be prouder to see a former Vardar player represent our club, our values, and the Michigan soccer community in such an incredible way.
